『ベンチレーション機能』
衣服内の温度や湿度を快適に保つ為の換気機能。
主に脇や背面などの熱がこもり易い箇所に用いられる。
ジッパー以外ではいわゆるサークル状の『菊穴』と呼ばれる穴のまわりを同様に円形でかがった物を採用するのが通例なのですが多用するディテールだからこそそこにこだわり何としても『ありきたり』からの脱出を果たしたかったんです。
何カ所もの工場へのリクエスト、サンプルアップ...失敗。
また失敗...
結局、展示会期中にも２都市の内覧会期中にも間に合わず半ば諦めかけていた頃に届いたこのオリジナル『星形』ベンチレーション。
遂に完成しました！
星の形もシャープな星形だと安っぽく見え、太らせすぎると何だかわからなかったり試行錯誤の結果がこの絶妙な星のシェイプでした。
時間と失敗を重ねたからこそ思い入れも強いものに。
この愛すべき未見のディテールは今後もブランドのアイコン、武器として活躍してくれることでしょう。

"VENTILATION Function"
A system used to circulate air to keep the comfortable temperature and humidity inside of clothes.
Usually placed around the underarm or the back where collects the body heat easily.
"Stitched eyelet works" in round shape are commonly used ventilation except zipper vent.
However, because we use the ventilation detail on lots of our garments, I wanted to go out of the standard.
We requested to many factories for new samples and failed...
Try it again, and failed...
Couldn't make the right sample of "Stitched eyelet works in STAR shape" ventilation on time for the exhibitions.
I was so closed to give it up.
But,
Here it is!
Not too sharp but not too rounded. As a result of trying so many samples, This is the shape I wanted.
I put so much time and effort after the failure.
I'm sure this lovely, never-seen detail would be used as icon of NEXUSVII®
