今日のような雨の日は事務所前がこのような状態に。
ザックカバーや様々なNEXUSVII®のGORE-TEX®グッズがズラッと。
ちょっとしたスラム街（笑）
自分の今日の相棒はここ最近届いてからずっと着ているお気に入りのGORE-TEX®PAC-LITE JKT。
バブアーやベルスタッフ等、古くは生地の上にオイルドコーティングをすることにより雨から身を守ってきました。
今期は『LOST DETAILS』というテーマの基にこれらのオイルドの生地感をイメージしたGORE-TEX®の中でも軽量のPAC-LITE（パックライト）を採用。
当時のオイルの匂いや他の物に付くオイル汚れなどのデメリットポイントを無くしました。
またオイルを塗り込む事によって当たり前の様に重たくなる生地も見た目の重厚感はそのままにかなり軽減出来ています。
この生地だけでも見応えがあります。
バックスタイルはこんな感じです。
裾の切り替え位置をバックサイドにずらし開閉可能な
ボタンアジャスターを付けました。
フード部分は今期から多く採用している『パワーカラー』の赤で彩色。
ここはハンティングジャケットの感覚で。
狩猟の際に獲物と誤認されない為に主にジャケットの背面の一部分に赤などの色を入れたものをヒントに。
この部分にはシエラデザインズ等でおなじみの60/40クロスという生地を採用しています。
60/40クロスとはコットン糸を横糸にナイロン糸を縦糸に使用しながら58:42の比率で編み込まれた素材でナイロン特有の光沢を抑えた高機能素材です。
ここ最近は60/40クロスと言ってもインチキ臭い物も横行していますが今回採用している物は組成はもちろん当時の染色までも再現した生地になります。
そしてジップ。
ここはかなりマニアックなお話しになってしまいますが30年代のジップを再現した物を使用しています。
通称『ハトメジップ』
御覧のようにジップ下の部分をハトメで押さえているんです。
そして『ボールチェーンジップ』に『コの字留め』。
GORE-TEX®で『ハトメジップ』を採用したのはこのジャケットが世界初でしょう。
更に襟をチラッとめくるとレザーの当てパーツが。
さらに『ブタ鼻』と呼ばれるアジャスターパーツ。
これも大変珍しい極小の真鍮製の物を採用。
ここだけでもとてもとても時間がかかりました。
レザーとコーデュロイの色が茶色の物もありそちらもかなり気にいっています。
まだまだパターンのことやいろいろなお話をしたいのですがドンドン企業秘密にまで入り込んで行ってしまいそうですのでこの辺で。
毎回毎回ですがGORE-TEX®の製品には気合いが入っています。
大嫌いだった雨の日がレインテスト感覚で少し楽しめる様になりました。

This is is how it goes on the rainy day like today.

My pick for today is GORE-TEX® PAC-LITE JKT that I have been rocking since it arrived recently.
People used to protected themselves from rain by coating the fabric by oil like BARBOUR and BELSTAFF did in old days.
We are offering GORE-TEX® PAC-LITE® using light weight material reminds oiled fabric based on our season concept "LOST DETAILS".
This way you can avoid the demerit of oiled material such as its smell and the bleeding to other fabric.
This light weight material also avoid the heavy weight comes from coating oil without losing the outlook of weightiness.
Just this material itself worth trying this Jacket.
Here is the back View of it.
Moving the side slit to its back and has adjuster snap button.
The hood features the "POWER COLOR" red that you will see often starting this season.
Hunters wear Jackets with red accent on their back not to be misrecognized as target in forrest.
This material is called 60/40 CROSS often used by Sierra Design.
60/40 CROSS Nylon woven with cotton on horizontal and nylon on vertical by the ration of 58:42 to avoid the glossy look of nylon.
There are lots of fake 60/40 cross in market these days but we truly reproduced the material even the dyeing process.
And here comes the maniac detail reproduced as 30's zipper called "Pigeon eyes Zipper".
Bottom of the zipper is held by Pigeon eyes with "Ball Chain Zipper pull" as you can see in the picture.
I believe that this is the first GORe-TEX® Jacket featuring "Pigeon eyes Zipper" in the world.
There is a leather attachment piece under the collar and adjuster called "Pig Nose".
Took me a while just for these details.
There is another color features brown leather and corduroy for the details.
There are more I can talk about patterns etc but I better stop before I start talking about too much secrets.
I put so much into GORE-TEX® productions.
Now I can enjoy rainy days to test out these products.
