友人の新井ちゃんが履いていたスウェードのDr.マーチンに一目惚れをしてモデル違いのBLACK スウェードの８ホールを購入。
マーチンと云えば良く白いシューレースに変えている方を見かけますが海外にはあまり履いて行かない方が良いですよ。
元々、白いシューレースに変える＝『ホワイトパワー』を表すネオナチスタイルなので。
以前、海外の友人達が『意味がわかってやっているのか！？』と揃ってビックリしていました。
日本人がやるなら『イエローパワー』を表す黄色いシューレースなのでしょうか...
自分はマーチンの黄色いステッチで充分ですのでしばらくこのままで。
もう一足はR*izmとVLACKでも取り扱っているADIDASの『SUPERSTAR 80's』の黒×白。
これ、都内はもうほとんど見つかりませんでした。
本当に良く出来た素晴らしい一足です。
気に入り過ぎてもう一足、購入しようかと思っています。

I fell in love with the Dr. Martin suede boots that I saw my friend Arai-chan was rocking the other day.
I had to get myself a pair of BLACK SUEDE 8 hole version.
I often see people change their shoe laces to white on their Martins but they might want to be aware when they go oversea with those on.
The original idea of changing to white laces = "WHITE POWER" comes from Neo-Nazism.
I remember my friends from oversea were surprised and saying "Do they know what that really means!?"
I wonder yellow laces could mean "Yellow Power" for Japanese people...
Yellow stitches are just enough for me so I will leave them as is for now.
Other pair is ADIDAS "SUPERSTAR 80'S" in BLACK x WHITE which are carried at R*izm and VLACK.
These have disappeared in Tokyo area already.
They are great pair and made really well.
I like them so much that I'm thinking about getting another pair.
